How much should I bring for a ten days trip to Europe?

So, I'1000 an high school student from Turkey and nosotros are going on a trip next week with our teachers to Italy, France, Austria, Republic of hungary, Republic of bulgaria, Bosna Herzegovina etc (I dont quite remember tho but we volition go to like 7 7 countries). The money we give for the trip includes accomodation, travelling expenses and breakfast for everyday and so, I demand to bring money for having luncheon and dinner everyday and for my personal utilize. Since I am a high school student I have no relation with banks or ATM I'll only accept the money with me. My father is thinking well-nigh giving me 450€ exercise you think that it is enough? And practice you have any tips for me about our trip? Information technology can be about anything, thank you.

With the other expenses already covered, I would budget 50 euro per twenty-four hour period.

Yes, 50€ a day sounds similar a reasonable amount for a educatee. If you're actually taking only cash, be sure y'all safeguard it carefully.

Merely are y'all actually going to 7 countries in x days?

I think that should be okay because your trip leader will keep y'all in places with the right rates.

Surely you have been given guidelines, no?

Don't forget that Hungary, Bulgaria and Bosnia-Herzegovina have their own national currencies, although euro may be accepted.

Just brand certain yous keep most of your cash in a money belt, hidden away, and just use what you need for that day.

An ATM menu would be safer - teenagers here all have them - but you lot will exist fine with greenbacks.

Merely be aware of your environment. Don't allow strangers distract you - and equally long every bit you are with your schoolhouse group, you should exist fine.

If yous can, don't carry more cash than you lot will demand at whatever in one case. Perhaps a money chugalug that can go under your clothing is a practiced idea - you can keep your extra money and any identification in it. Exist sure to keep out the money you volition need, though, and so you don't have to get into the money belt in public. If y'all are carrying a purse or small-scale bag, use a cross-body strap and keep information technology in front of you. Never hang it on the dorsum of a chair if you are in a eatery.

Then much for you to run into and do. Have a wonderful fourth dimension!
